SecurityScorecard and Reco, a SaaS security platform, have announced a strategic partnership to improve organizations' ability to identify and manage risks associated with third-party SaaS applications.

The partnership combines Reco's inside-out view of an organization's SaaS ecosystem risks with SecurityScorecard's outside-in perspective on SaaS vendor risk profiles. This integration offers customers a comprehensive 360-degree risk assessment within Reco's platform, incorporating SecurityScorecard's Cyber Ratings for each discovered SaaS app vendor.

Benefits of the collaboration include enhanced visibility into SaaS security posture, continuous risk monitoring and management, and expanded accessibility through mutual marketplace listings. SecurityScorecard customers will also gain access to a free assessment of their SaaS app usage through Reco.

Analyst QuickTake: In addition to in-house developments, SecurityScorecard has been leveraging partnerships to enhance its product offerings. In September 2023, the company partnered with Riscosity to enhance cybersecurity strategies by offering deep visibility into data flow and third-party access and data risk scoring. This collaboration aimed to infuse cybersecurity strategies into every business sector, starting from vendor risk management to data sharing.
