Wiliot has introduced WiliBot, a GenAI chatbot designed to communicate with ambient IoT-connected products. This new tool is part of Wiliot's Ambient Data Platform, which uses stamp-sized, self-powered IoT Pixels attached to various items in the supply chain.
WiliBot uses a large language model to process data collected by IoT Pixels, such as location, temperature, humidity, and carbon footprint. The system can identify supply chain "events" and generate automated alerts or AI responses to help businesses optimize their operations.
Wiliot claims that its platform can solve two-thirds of typical shrink issues in the food supply chain, potentially leading to safer food supply, improved customer satisfaction, and reduced costs.
Analyst QuickTake: Wiliot’s use of GenAI in packaging focuses on improving how products are tracked and managed in real time. By embedding intelligence into packaging, it enhances supply chain visibility and efficiency. This strategy could lead to significant advancements in how products are monitored throughout their lifecycle.
