Australia-based Zip, a B2C and B2B BNPL provider, has partnered with Stripe, an API-based payment infrastructure and card-issuing and fraud prevention platform, to integrate its BNPL offering with Stripe for US merchants.
Through this partnership, Zip plans to grow its customer base, increase cart conversions and basket sizes by leveraging Stripe’s merchant partners, and allow Zip to be a payment method. The integration will provide customers with flexible credit solutions while giving merchants access to a broader customer base.
Zip's BNPL offering is expected to be available to US merchants using Stripe later this year, with the service currently limited to beta users.
