Secure content communications company Kiteworks has raised USD 456 million in growth funding from Insight Partners and Sixth Street Growth. The investment values the company at over USD 1 billion.
The funding will be used for R&D, business development, hiring, and to continue its aggressive M&A strategy. Kiteworks plans to make acquisitions as part of its growth plan.
Kiteworks reportedly serves 100 million end users and more than 3,650 global enterprises and government agencies. The company claims to be the only security platform authorized by FedRAMP to provide unified support for file sharing, managed file transfer, and email data communications to meet global compliance requirements.
