ICEYE, a Finnish company providing synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite operations, has launched four new SAR satellites to join ICEYE'S SAR constellation.
The SAR satellites were integrated via Exolaunch and were deployed aboard SpaceX's Transporter-11 rideshare mission. The satellites were developed by ICEYE US and ICEYE in Finland for the company's commercial and dedicated customer missions.
The launch included satellite missions for Bayanat, a UAE-based provider of AI-powered geospatial solutions, and Al Yah Satellite Communications Company PJSC, a UAE-based satellite solutions provider.
The company plans to launch 13 new satellites in 2024 and between 10-15 new satellites annually from 2025 onward for its SAR constellation and customers.
