ElevenLabs, an advanced text-to-speech and voice API technology provider, has globally expanded its Reader app. The app was previously available only in the US, UK, and Canada.
The app, which allows users to convert text content into speech, now also supports 32 languages, including Portuguese, Spanish, French, Hindi, German, Japanese, Arabic, Korean, Italian, Tamil, and Swedish.
ElevenLabs claims that the extended language support is powered by its Turbo v2.5 model, which reportedly reduces the latency of text-to-speech conversion and improves quality. The company also plans to add more features to the app, including offline support and the ability to share audio snippets.
