HTC's Viverse launches no-code virtual world builder

Product updates

  • HTC introduced Viverse Create, a no-code virtual world builder, for its Viverse platform. This suite of tools allows creators to build and share interactive multiplayer worlds across various devices, including VR headsets, mobile, PC, and Mac.

  • Viverse Create offers two building methods: A no-code tool for composing virtual worlds in a web browser using assets and media files and PlayCanvas, a game engine-style tool for creating more interactive experiences. The platform supports integration with the Sketchfab library and VROID VRM format, allowing users to access millions of free models and import existing models.

  • The platform also incorporates Polygon Streaming technology, which reduces bandwidth and processing power requirements by combining server-side processing with client-side rendering.
