  • As part of the funding deal, Remus Capital CEO Krishna K. Gupta has been appointed the new chairman of Ceres AI. The company claims to use the funds to expand its presence into vertical markets within the agribusiness and financial services sectors.

  • The company claims that insights from the Ceres AI platform could be used to make smarter field management decisions, resulting in greater efficiency, profitability, and sustainability. It intends to leverage its database of crop and field data to become more of a data-as-a-service company.
