QuantHealth, an AI-powered clinical trial design company, has announced that its Clinical-Simulator system has achieved 85% accuracy in predicting clinical trial outcomes. The company uses AI technology to forecast individual patient responses within clinical trials, combining data from 350 million patients and over 700,000 drug entities.
The Clinical-Simulator can simulate more than 5,000 protocol variations within minutes, identifying factors most likely contributing to trial success. It predicts Phase II trial outcomes with 88% accuracy and Phase III trial outcomes with 83.2% accuracy, significantly higher than current industry success rates.
QuantHealth claims its technology has enabled cost reductions of more than USD 215 million for a pharmaceutical partner's respiratory disease team. The company reports improved accuracy rates across various therapeutic areas, including oncology, immune and inflammation, gastroenterology, and respiratory diseases, compared to national averages.
