Voyager Space partners with Maritime Launch Services

Partnerships

  • Voyager Space, a space infrastructure and on-orbit servicing company, has been selected by Maritime Launch Services as the first Owner Authorized Representative (OAR) for the next development phase of Spaceport Nova Scotia.

  • The partnership involves Voyager Space providing technical support for the facility's infrastructure by contributing the company's engineering, design, and fabrication expertise to Maritime Launch.

  • Voyager's role will include engineering design and development, as well as the construction of launch site components. The company will also work with Maritime Launch to assess potential client requirements and incorporate them into the facility's design.

  • This partnership emphasizes the recent expanding collaborations between Canada and the US under the Technology Safeguard Agreement (TSA) announced on August 2, 2024. The TSA facilitates cross-border cooperation in space technology, enabling US launch vehicles and satellites to be deployed from Canada and developing specialized support equipment.
