ACS partners with Color Health to offer free colorectal cancer screening kits

Partnerships

  • The American Cancer Society (ACS) and Color Health have launched a pilot program to provide free colorectal cancer screening in underserved communities.

  • The program will distribute free at-home fecal immunochemical test (FIT) kits through Federally Qualified Health Centers and community clinics in rural and non-urban areas. Color Health will offer comprehensive support throughout screening, including test activation, result delivery, and care coordination. The initiative aims to improve early detection rates and address disparities in cancer outcomes.

  • The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy recognized this partnership, which seeks to eliminate financial barriers to screening and enhance community health by improving access to cancer screening services.
