Otto raises USD 6 million in seed funding to expand engineering team

Funding

  • B2B travel AI agent company Otto has raised USD 6 million in seed funding led by Madrona Ventures, with participation from Direct Travel. Angel investors in the round included former C-suite executives from Uber, Expedia, Orbitz, and Farecast.

  • Funds were earmarked to hire engineers for product development purposes.

  • Otto, founded in 2024, provides AI-powered booking assistance for small-scale B2B clients, allowing them to recall user preferences, including their hotels and flights. The company plans to launch an alpha version of its product to selective US participants in September, followed by a beta version by the end of 2024.
