Volvo Trucks, a manufacturer of heavy-duty vehicles, has signed a cooperation agreement with DSV, a global logistics company for 300 electric heavy trucks.
The partnership includes the deployment of 300 zero-exhaust emission electric trucks under DSV’s Europe operations, marking the largest commercial orders to date for Volvo electric trucks. The trucks delivered will include Volvo’s new FH Aero Electric model. The partnership aligns with DSV's target of deploying 2,000 electric trucks by 2030.
The partnership also includes 500 Volvo trucks with fuel-efficient diesel and gas drivelines. Volvo plans to deliver the trucks between 2024 and 2026.
