Nutrien opens new fertilizer terminal in Randolph, Minnesota

Geographic expansion

  • Nutrien, a Canadian producer of potash, phosphate, and nitrogen organic fertilizers, has announced opening a new fertilizer terminal in Randolph, Minnesota.

  • The new 40,000 sq ft facility is reported to offer ~20,000 tons of dry fertilizer storage. The company intends to increase the efficiency of delivery to regional customers and strengthen its competitive advantage in the North American market.

  • Nutrien also reports that the terminal's warehouse includes a TerminalBoss automated scale and has a capacity for ~65 rail cars on site.
