Synapticure, a telemedicine company for neurodegenerative diseases, partnered with Pearl Health, a value-based care technology company, to support dementia patients through the CMS GUIDE (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience) program.
The partnership aims to improve the quality of life for dementia patients and caregivers by providing access to specialized neurologists, behavioral health support, and comprehensive caregiver assistance. Pearl Health primary care providers can refer Medicare patients to Synapticure for proactive, value-based dementia care.
Through the CMS GUIDE program, patients receive fully covered online visits with Synapticure neurologists and approximately 80 hours of respite care services at no additional cost. The collaboration seeks to reduce caregiver strain and enable patients to remain safely in their homes and communities.
Analyst QuickTake: In April 2024, Synapicture partnered with the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Association to improve access and quality of care for ALS patients across the US. Through the partnership, Synapticure's telemedicine platform was made available to members of the ALS Association to supplement in-person visits at certified ALS treatment centers. Both of Synapicture’s partnership agreements that it secured in 2024 serve to increase the company’s market reach and help further its goal of making neurodegenerative care more accessible, compassionate, and personalized.
