HomeLight, an online real estate buying and selling platform, has raised USD 20 million in a Series D extension funding round led by Zeev Ventures, with participation from Stereo Capital and Menlo Ventures, among others. HomeLight's total funding now stands at USD 762.5 million.
HomeLight also launched Buy Before You Sell, a bridge loan offering that allows buyers to sell their existing home before closing on their new home. The offering allows homebuyers to access up to 70% of the equity from their existing home to make offers on new properties.
The funding will be used to expand its Buy Before You Sell product to lenders and agents across 40 new states, bringing the total to 47 states.
HomeLight's Buy Before You Sell product has been adopted by 40 lenders, including The Loan Store and Luminate Home Loans. The company has partnered with over 10,000 loan officers and 28,000 real estate agents, unlocking over USD 655 million in equity from clients' existing homes across the US.
