project44 has launched Emissions Monitoring, a new feature within its Movement platform. This tool helps shippers, carriers, and logistics service providers measure and report Scope 3 emissions across all transportation modes to improve sustainability and compliance.
Emissions Monitoring offers GLEC-accredited emissions calculations for shipments across all modes. It provides detailed breakdowns of emissions data for multimodal shipments, custom reporting capabilities, and a mode-agnostic emissions dashboard. Users can access shipment-level emissions calculations via Movement and API requests.
The company claims this new feature will help customers streamline compliance with customizable reporting, reduce environmental impact with accurate historical emissions data, and enhance customer satisfaction by measuring positively in ESG reports and delivering on sustainability promises.
Analyst QuickTake: In recent years, project44 has been actively focusing on solutions that promote supply chain sustainability. In January 2024, it partnered with Lenzing Group, a specialty fiber producer, to enhance its ocean shipment visibility and focus on carbon emissions monitoring. The solution signified an industry advancement, providing significant data for meeting emission reduction targets.
