Serve Robotics, a company offering droid-based delivery services, has raised USD 20 million in a private placement from a single institutional investor.
The funding includes the sale of pre-funded warrants and common warrants and the exercise of existing warrants.
Analyst QuickTake: Today’s funding comes just over a month after raising USD 15 million in another private placement from a single institutional investor to support Serve Robotics' ongoing operations and growth initiatives—which could also be the use of the newly raised funds. When considering Serve Robotics’ ongoing operations, it has already completed “tens of thousands” of deliveries for partners like Uber Eats and 7-Eleven. The company has multi-year contracts, including an agreement to deploy up to 2,000 delivery robots on the Uber Eats platform across multiple US markets.
