Quality Flow Environmental to build new facility in Iowa

Geographic expansion

  • Quality Flow, a subsidiary of Quality Flow Inc., announced plans to start the construction of a new facility in Maquoketa, Iowa, to turn cow waste into refined fertilizer. The US Department of Agriculture will contribute USD 4.7 million toward the construction of the facility.

  • The company claims that the facility would be able to adjust the amount of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium in the fertilizer, which can be spread as a liquid, pellet, or powder.

  • Construction is expected to be completed by 2025, and operations are slated to commence later that same year. When fully operational, the facility is expected to have 40 full-time employees.
