Firefly Aerospace, an American aerospace company, has appointed Jason Kim as its new CEO, effective from October 2024.
Jason Kim previously served as CEO of Millennium Space, a Boeing subsidiary specializing in small satellites. He also held previous executive positions at Raytheon Intelligence & Space and Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems.
Analyst QuickTake: The appointment of the new CEO follows the recent departure of Bill Weber in July 2024 over alleged reports of misconduct. Firefly Aerospace did not disclose the reason for Weber's departure or whether he resigned or was fired.
