Mysten Labs, a Web3 infrastructure company and developer of the Sui layer-1 blockchain, has introduced pre-orders for the SuiPlay0X1, a gaming handheld incorporating Sui's blockchain technology. The device is priced at USD 600 (excluding shipping and tax) and can be purchased using SUI, ETH, or SOL tokens.
According to Mysten Labs, the SuiPlay0X1 aims to illustrate that blockchain-integrated games can enhance the gaming experience without interrupting gameplay. The device is compatible with PC games from platforms like Epic Games and Steam, as well as Sui-powered games like Xociety and Dark Times.
The SuiPlay0X1 is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 7840U CPU, an AMD Ryzen GPU, 16 GB of DRAM, 512 GB of SSD storage, and a 7-inch IPS no-bezel screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200. It operates on Playtron's device-agnostic game operating system and supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.
