Berkshire Grey partners with Kardex to provide robotic picking for AutoStore systems

Partnerships

  • AI-enabled robotic solutions provider Berkshire Grey partnered with intralogistics solution company Kardex to offer robotic picking for AutoStore systems to optimize storage processes for businesses of all sizes.

  • The partnership aims to deliver an integrated, end-to-end automated fulfillment solution combining Berkshire Grey's robotic picking technology with Kardex's AutoStore systems and purpose-built “FulfillX WES.” This collaboration promises one-touch fulfillment with 99.99% picking accuracy, immediate performance without SKU data requirements, scalability, and significant cost savings through enhanced efficiency and 24/7 operation.

  • The companies are already conducting pilot projects.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Berkshire Grey has a history of partnering with other tech providers for similar purposes. In fact, the company also has partnerships with system integrator of fulfillment and distribution solutions AHS (September 2021), technology service provider Atos (October 2021), data-driven robotic solutions provider Swisslog (March 2022), and autonomous mobile robot developer Locus Robotics (January 2023) to expand markets by combining technologies.
