ShipBob, a supply chain and fulfillment platform for ecommerce merchants, has expanded into two new state-of-the-art facilities in North Aurora, Illinois, and Fort Worth, Texas.
The new ShipBob Innovation Centers, each over 250,000 sq ft, function as inbound receiving hubs, outbound sortation centers, and consolidation points for ShipBob's middle-mile network. They feature automated sort centers for outbound packages, allow for later carrier handoffs and more frequent pickups, and facilitate inventory distribution to other regions for faster fulfillment.
Analyst QuickTake: ShipBob currently operates a network of 50+ fulfillment centers across the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Australia. These centers serve as storage and distribution hubs for ShipBob's customers.
