Dell partners with Red Hat to bring RHEL AI to PowerEdge servers

Partnerships

  • Dell Technologies has partnered with Red Hat to bring the Red Hat Enterprise Linux AI (RHEL AI) platform to Dell's PowerEdge servers for AI development.

  • The collaboration aims to simplify AI infrastructure deployment for organizations, enabling them to scale IT systems for AI and machine learning strategies using Dell’s PowerEdge servers in on-premises or hybrid cloud setups.

  • Preview access to RHEL AI is available at Dell Customer Solution Centers globally. RHEL AI will be fully available on Dell’s newest PowerEdge servers by Q3 2024.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Launched in May , RHEL AI simplifies AI adoption by combining Red Hat’s Enterprise Linux with open-source AI tools, enabling businesses to run and customize AI applications on existing infrastructure. As noted in our Cloud Tech Q2 2024 report, Red Hat’s recent solutions span the entire AI development value chain. Together, IBM and Red Hat are strategically addressing key challenges in the enterprise adoption of GenAI, positioning their offerings to meet the growing demand for AI technologies.
