Oyster raises USD 59 million in Series D funding to accelerate platform development

Funding

  • Oyster raised USD 59 million in a Series D funding round led by Silver Lake Waterman, with participation from existing investors. The funding brings Oyster's valuation to USD 1.2 billion and its total funding to USD 286 million.

  • The new funding will accelerate the development of Oyster's platform and expand more generally. The company has recently launched new products, including Global Payroll, Visa Sponsorships, and local compensation insights.

  • Analyst QuickTake: In 2022, Oyster raised USD 150 million in a Series C round to support platform development and invest in the “People Ops” community. With Pearl's launch in 2023 , the new funding will focus on expanding its product portfolio and sustaining its valuation.
