AI governance platform Acuvity has raised USD 9 million in seed funding led by Foundation Capital, with participation from individual investors including Basil Alwan and Sri Reddy.
The funding will be used to progress Acuvity's secure AI adoption platform, which provides visibility into employee use of GenAI systems and helps companies build Gen-AI applications securely.
Acuvity's platform continuously scans the internet for new AI offerings, monitors internal communication with acceptable models, and flags potentially worrisome content. It also creates a separation of concerns and speeds up AI application development by making AI security "pluggable" without requiring code changes once deployed.
