uMotif, a provider of eCOA/ePRO platforms for clinical trials and real-world studies, has acquired ClinOne, a company that offers site applications including eConsent, for an undisclosed sum.

ClinOne provides an integrated platform that connects, informs, and empowers clinical trial sites. Its offerings include consent management, site productivity tools, trial awareness enhancement, and patient and caregiver experience improvements, all supported by data insight tools and standards-based interoperability.

The acquisition follows a two-year strategic partnership between the companies. It aims to provide customers with a single, integrated solution that combines uMotif's modern eCOA/ePRO platform with ClinOne's consent management and additional tools to reduce site and patient burden in clinical trials.

Through this acquisition, uMotif will be bolstering its platform, expanding both its capabilities and reach.
