Moolec Science, a plant-based ingredient startup, has announced the upcoming harvest of its genetically engineered plant-grown products GLASO™ and Piggy Sooy™ in October 2024.
The company claims that GLASO™ contains 3x more gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) than conventional sources and that Piggy Sooy™ can potentially produce pork meat proteins equivalent to 10 pigs per acre.
Additionally, the company reports it aims to expand its commercial strategy to reach larger markets and clients.
