In-car VR entertainment startup holoride announced plans for realignment and expansion following a successful restructuring. The company will establish a holding company in Singapore while maintaining its core team in Munich. It plans to offer its technology as a license to industrial customers to develop their applications.
As part of its reorganization, holoride will continue its existing partnerships and release an enhanced software suite in early 2025. The new software will support more devices, expanding the company's technological capabilities.
Analyst QuickTake: Chloride filed for insolvency in May 2024 , unable to secure further funding. Licensing its technology will broaden the company’s revenue streams, which initially focused on the niche in-car VR entertainment market.
