Midi Health raises additional USD 5 million in Series B funding via SPV to expand operations

Funding

  • Midi Health, a healthcare provider specializing in women's midlife health, has raised an additional USD 5 million through a special purpose vehicle (SPV) managed by venture fund Operator Collective. This SPV has backing from a notable group of women leaders across various industries, including comedian Amy Schumer, actress Connie Britton, soccer legend Brandi Chastain, attorney and activist Meena Harris, business executive Sheryl Sandberg, Waymo co-CEO Tekedra Mawakana, and fashion designer Tory Burch.

  • The new funds will be used to expand its operations and achieve its goal of closing the women's healthcare gap.

  • Analyst QuickTake : This notable group of women leaders joins other Series B investors from an April 2024 round, including Emerson Collective, Google Ventures, Memorial Hermann, SemperVirens, Felicis, Icon Ventures, Black Angel Group, and Gingerbread Capital. This underscores the company’s commitment to delivering expert and insurance-friendly healthcare to women in perimenopause and menopause stages.
