May Mobility, a developer of autonomous shuttle services, has scaled down its expansion plans in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The revised plan aims to add 100 jobs by the end of October 2026, down from the 300 initially announced in April 2023.
In response to the revised plan, the Michigan Strategic Fund board has adjusted May Mobility's performance-based grant from USD 3 million to USD 1 million.
The revisions to the expansion plans are reportedly related to the growth of May Mobility’s Autonomous Vehicle Technology. The company has stated that it will not downsize but realign its workforce to meet evolving business needs.
