Wellinks, an integrated virtual chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) management company, has acquired Spire Health, a company specializing in continuous respiratory monitoring, in a non-cash transaction for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition merges Spire's patient monitoring technology with Wellinks' virtual-led care model, creating a fully integrated Predictive Patient Care company. This combination will allow Wellinks to offer payors and providers a new means of managing COPD and congestive heart failure patients using patient data, predictive analytics, and specialized treatment pathways.
