Richtech Robotics introduces AI-powered beverage service robot 'Scorpion'

  • Richtech Robotics, a developer of food and beverage preparation robots, has launched Scorpion, an AI-powered single-arm beverage service robot. The company has also signed a distribution agreement with Park 34 Liquor Store Inc. for 500 Scorpion units over five years.

  • Scorpion leverages NVIDIA AI technologies to offer personalized drink recommendations based on preferences and moods. It features a screen for displaying digital content, uses the NVIDIA Jetson Orin platform and DeepStream SDK for advanced body movement detection, and employs NVIDIA Isaac ROS libraries for obstacle avoidance and object recognition.
