CropIn partners with Google Gemini to launch AI-powered agri intelligence platform

Partnerships

  • CropIn, a SaaS-based AgriTech startup offering crop monitoring and analytic solutions, has partnered with Google Gemini to launch "Sage," a real-time GenAI-powered agri intelligence platform for global farm management.

  • Sage is reported to combine GenAI, advanced crop and climate models, and Earth observation data to provide farmers with grid-based insights for crop management. The platform offers features such as yield prediction, early disease detection, and optimized resource management to enhance agricultural efficiency and food security worldwide.

  • CropIn anticipates increasing its customer base by 50% over the next two to three years and aims to double its revenue with the launch of Sage. The partners also report that this platform is expected to benefit farmers, CPG players, seed manufacturers, food processors, and governments by providing valuable data-driven insights for decision-making.

  • Analyst QuickTake: In March 2024, Cropin collaborated with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop a food security decision intelligence solution. The AI-powered solution aims to integrate satellite imagery with field images and remote data to improve agricultural analytics, providing micro and macro insights.
