Pika, a developer of AI video models, has expanded its free special effects in Pika 1.5, its latest AI video model. The web-based AI image-to-video generator now includes new effects called Pikaffects, which can be accessed through the company's website.
The new Pikaffects include crumble, dissolve, deflate, and ta-da effects. Users can upload an image to the site, and Pika 1.5 will turn it into a video with the selected animation effect.
Analyst QuickTake: These join previously unveiled effects such as explode, squish, melt, crush, inflate, and cake-ify. The company aims to differentiate itself in the competitive AI video market by focusing on creative manipulation rather than just realism.
