Dawn Aerospace partners with Perigee Aerospace for satellite propulsion and launch services

Partnerships

  • Dawn Aerospace, a New Zealand-based space transportation provider, has partnered with Perigee Aerospace, a South Korean space mobility company developing the Blue Whale 1 launch vehicle.

  • The partnership includes developing satellite green-propulsion systems in Korea, launching satellites into a 500 km sun-synchronous orbit using Blue Whale 1, and conducting joint marketing activities globally. It also marks Dawn Aerospace's entry into the Korean space market.

  • Analyst QuickTake: This partnership adds to Dawn Aerospace's existing partnerships for developing and providing propulsion systems. These included partnerships with Rogue Space in May 2021, Sidus Space in November 2022, and Lynk in March 2023.
