H3 Dynamics launches 400 kW aviation fuel cell

Product updates

  • H3 Dynamics, a Singapore-based aerospace technology company, has launched Aerocell, a 400 kW fuel cell system designed for aerospace applications. The product adds to its existing range of 50, 100, and 200 kW solutions.

  • The new fuel cell system can function as both an auxiliary power unit and propulsion system, is 2x as powerful as competing models, and is 50% lighter. Three units can be combined to provide up to 1.2 MW of power, suitable for medium-sized aircraft.

  • The company aims to deliver a certified propulsion system in France by the end of 2025, which it claims will be the world's most powerful electric-hydrogen powertrain. The company has established partnerships with major aviation companies, including Airbus, Pipistrel, Qdot Technology, Lyte Aviation, and Sea Cheetah.
