Securitize partners with Elixir to launch deUSD RWA institutional program for tokenized assets

Partnerships

  • Securitize, a tokenization platform, has partnered with Elixir, a blockchain network for crypto exchanges, to launch liquid staking tokens for tokenized securities, including BlackRock's BUIDL.

  • The partnership introduces sToken, built on Ethereum's ERC-4626 standard, allowing institutional investors to convert their real-world assets (RWAs) into deUSD while maintaining yield earnings. The program initially focuses on BlackRock's BUIDL token holders, with plans to expand to other assets like Hamilton Lane's SCOPE fund. Through this collaboration, Elixir will hold sBUIDL, a derivative of BlackRock's BUIDL minted by Securitize users, aiming to increase Total Value Locked (TVL) and enhance liquidity across multiple blockchain networks.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Securitize has been steadily building on its collaborations with institutional players within the RWA space over the last year. With this development, Securitize will expand its partnership with Blackrock, which launched its first tokenized fund on Ethereum , the BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL), via a partnership with Securitize in March. Notably, it also led Securitize's USD 47 million funding round in May , which was earmarked to bolster its partnerships across the financial services industry.
