GenAI model development and training startup LightOn has launched an IPO on Euronext Growth Paris, aiming to become Europe's first listed GenAI company. The company is seeking to raise EUR 10.4 million (~USD 10.9 million) at EUR 10.35 (~USD 10.9) per share, implying a valuation of EUR 50 million (~USD 52 million).
LightOn, which provides large language model software to businesses and the French government, has set its subscription period from November 8 to 20, 2024 . Trading is expected to commence on November 26.
The company has set financial targets of EUR 40 million (~USD 42 million) in revenue and a 40% EBITDA margin by 2027. The IPO proceeds will support the company's growth initiatives in the European AI sector.
