Pony.ai raises USD 413 million in Nasdaq IPO debut and through private placements

  • Pony.ai, a Chinese autonomous driving technology company, raised USD 413.4 million through its IPO and concurrent private placements. The company offered 20 million American Depositary Shares (ADSs) at USD 13 per share, raising USD 260 million, with an additional USD 153.4 million from strategic investors, including JSC International Investment Fund SPC, Guangzhou Nansha Chicheng Future Industry Investment Fund, and Kechuangzhihang Holdings Limited through private placements.

  • The IPO values the company at over USD 4 billion. However, the shares dropped 7.7% in their trading debut, trading at USD 12.02, below the IPO price of USD 13. Shares are trading under the ticker symbol "PONY."
