Versa Networks raises USD 84 million in Series D funding

Funding

  • Versa Networks, a provider of cloud security products using the Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) architecture, has raised USD 84 million in a Series D funding round co-led by Princeville Capital and RPS Ventures and with participation from Sequoia Capital. Total funding stands at USD 196 million following this round.

  • The company expects to use the funding to scale its platform and expand its sales and marketing teams.

  • Founded in 2012, Versa Networks provides cloud security products such as cloud access security brokers (CASBs), secure web gateways (SWGs), and zero-trust network access products via the SASE architecture. The company currently has 500 employees, and over 5,000 customers across 500,000 contracted sites.
