Starship Technologies, an autonomous delivery droid maker, has extended its partnership with Tesco to expand its grocery delivery coverage in Milton Keynes, UK.
Accordingly, eight Tesco Express stores across the city’s North, East, and West regions have been added to the Starship app. The trials started in January 2019, delivering orders from Tesco Kingston Centre in Milton Keynes.
In 2018, Starship Technologies launched its commercial delivery service in Milton Keynes, UK, in partnership with Tesco and Co-op Food. The service gradually expanded, adding new vendors to include service areas to more than 15 estates in Milton Keynes. Furthermore, Northampton was added as the second town to start autonomous deliveries by Starships in November 2020.
