SynSaber, a provider of industrial asset and network monitoring services, has raised USD 2.5 million in seed funding from SYN Ventures, Rally Ventures, and Cyber Mentor Fund.
The funding also marks SynSaber’s emergence from stealth. The company expects to use the funds for product development, expanding channel partnerships, and go-to-market efforts.
SynSaber was founded in 2020 by Jori VanAntwerp and Rob Fabela, two former leaders from the cybersecurity companies Dragos and CrowdStrike. SynSaber plans to launch its first commercial product later this year. The company’s cybersecurity solution uses low-hardware standalone sensors/sabers with laser precision, providing continuous insights into the status, vulnerabilities, and threats to defend the cloud, industrial internet of things (IIoT), and on-premise assets in real-time.
