Codelicious secures USD 3.8 million in seed funding

Funding

  • Codelicious, a computer science curriculum platform, secured USD 3.8 million in a seed funding round led by EduLab Capital Partners and Allos Ventures. 

  • The funds will be used to drive growth by accelerating sales and marketing efforts as well as adding more personnel. 

  • Founded in 2018 by Christine McDonnell and Erik Young , Codelicious is a software platform that provides fully customizable computer science curricula to K-12 students. Its patented technology allows for instructional content to be matched with the unique needs of a particular school or district in the US by providing the necessary tools for educators such as lesson plans, assessments, and standards mapping. It has achieved revenue growth rates of 250% each year since its launch and it currently serves 100 K-12 schools and districts in 23 states.
