WorkMotion, a German HR startup, has raised EUR 20.5 million (USD 24 million) in a Series A funding round co-led by Activant Capital and XAnge. The round also included the participation of investors Carsten Thoma, Picus Capital, and Victor Jacobsson (founder of Klarna).
The Series A follows its EUR 2.2 million (USD 2.6 million) angel funding round in March 2021. The fresh funds are being funneled toward WorkMotion’s European expansion. It will also allocate part of the funds to develop new compliance solutions for large enterprises and to expand its direct employment offering.
