Aviron, a manufacturer of connected rowers with gamification features, has raised USD 4.5 million in funding from investors including Samsung Next, Formic Ventures, GFC, and Y Combinator. This brings the company’s total capital raised to date to USD 5.25 million.
The company intends to utilize the funds for continued business growth, to meet the rising demand, to further develop its gamified workout content.
The company witnessed considerable growth in Q1 2021, surpassing revenue reported in full-year 2020, and doubling the number of users.
