Sales platform 6Sense announced its acquisition of AI-based B2B revenue intelligence platform Fortella. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2017, Fortella offers pipeline management that allows sales teams to plan, forecast, and track pipelines based on actual conversion rates, sales cycles, and deal sizes. The platform tracks pipeline progress and also identifies gaps to alert sales teams on shortfall risk. In addition, it offers AI-driven recommendations based on accounts and buyer personalities to minimize these gaps.
Fortella’s pipeline management solutions are expected to be complementary to 6sense’s existing offering. The acquisition extends the breadth of 6sense’s offering through the integration of pipeline planning, forecasting, and measurement tools with its account engagement solutions.
