Cityblock, a New-York based primary care provider focused on serving Medicare and Medicaid members, has raised USD 400 million in a Series D funding round led by Softbank. This brings the total funds raised to USD 891 million and values Cityblock at USD 5.7 billion.
The funds will be used to enhance accessibility to its services and increase its membership base. The company wants to reach 10 million members by the end of 2030 from 70,000 members as of March 2021. As of August 2021, the company was available in five states on the East Coast.
The latest funding comes just four months after Cityblock raised USD 192 million in its Series C funding round.
