Sternum, an IoT security startup, has raised USD 27 million in a Series B funding round led by Spark Capital, with participation from Square Peg Capital, Hinrich Foundation, Btov, and other private investors. Sternum’s total funding following this round stands at USD 37 million.
The company expects to direct the funds towards R&D to advance its platform and expand its headcount by threefold to 60 as it ramps up its global go-to-market efforts.
Sternum’s patented technology is used in over 100,000 devices by several Fortune 500 organizations, spanning across industries such as medical, and communication; it expects to register a growth of 300% by the end of 2022.
