Shopify, a no-code platform to build ecommerce websites, announced that it will partner with Microsoft to bring merchant listings to Microsoft Bing (search engine), Microsoft Edge (browser), and Microsoft Start (news service).
The integration will enable more than 1.7 million Shopify merchants to list their products across the Microsoft network (on the Shopping tab in Bing, Edge, and Start) by making adjustments via an updated Microsoft Channel app. Additionally, It will also allow merchants to create ad campaigns and view marketing performance via real-time reports in their Shopify store.

Analyst QuickTake: Shopify also entered into a similar partnership with Google five months ago to allow its merchants to reach consumers through Google services, including Search, Maps, Images, Lens, and YouTube. In addition, Shopify has also integrated with social media platforms such as Facebook and TikTok, which offer ecommerce interactions, to help merchants reach a wider customer base. Moreover, the company’s closest peer BigCommerce also has integrations to promote cross-selling with global platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Facebook, and Instagram.
